Namurc is a digital artist who has decided to take his artworks out of the metaverse to make them concrete, material. After years of studies, he celebrated the most evocative wedding. The one between futuristic digital technology and the oldest and most natural material used by man: wood. This union has given a new and stunning character to the production of Namurc's creativity. The careful choice of wood, with its grain, its tones, its knots, its imperfections, embellishes the style and enhances the art. This wonderful metamorphosis did not lead to the creation of simple paintings, but objects with a new personality, a profound meaning and, why not, a utility. Almost anything that can be made with wood can accommodate a work by Namurc. Coffee tables, panels, doors, the only limit is creativity.
The technique and the materials
Namurc creates the works with the help of graphic design software. All the processes that lead to the finished product are done or worked by hand. Also any iron components (table legs for example). The wood is chosen specifically for each work, cut, treated and prepared for the work which is transferred to the panel through a UV paint technology, studied and perfected by technicians. The panel is then finished with ad hoc processes, which may include painting, applications of material components (rust, raw lime, etc.) and finally secured with protective agents and possibly resins. Depending on the type of work and possible use, various types of wood are used: from oak, to fir, to paulownia wood, up to the poorer but surprisingly effective varieties such as osb.
The paintings
The paintings are literally unique pieces. Although the work is created digitally, each piece of wood is unique and the work will take on a particular and unrepeatable appearance. OneOfOne. By maintaining the proportions of the work, paintings of various sizes can be created. Each work is signed (by hand and by fire) and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Each painting is equipped with a system to allow it to be hung without anything being seen, as if the work were part of the wall.
